2/1/2024 0 Comments X plane virtual airlinesI have little ILS experience, I mean I can use A/P to land by using a glideslope. I have some basic navigation and gauge reading skills. 80 - 90 % smooth landing in airliner, 90 % success landing in super fast military jets. 100 % success in landing with small size aircraft. I can complete takeoff/landing/flying VFR with various planes in different weather condition without too much problem. I cannot say that I am a professional sim pilot. I have been playing First Person Plane games/sims on and off since 10 years ago. The most important thing is: Start, but start smart, not big! Wow, this is a really long, detailed Essay. I assume you really want to go that road, so why not just begin at the start, instead at the high-end? Flying with a higher realistic level is all about learning, reading manuals and practising. Цитата допису Graubart:Well, if you are looking for a king's shortcut into becoming a pilot you will fail. The most important thing is: Start, but start smart, not big! The radio cvommunication and the flight directions will become way more complex on IFR rules. So don't even think of starting with IFR at IVAO or VATSIM, before you mastered VFR. Using IVAO in parallel helped a lot, they follow the exact same procedures as the real world (often more accurately than the real world ATC -). I am a real world glider pilot, and training for the radio license took me three months (one morning per week). So read about how to depart and approach an airfield VFR, then look for one with ATC online, announce you are newbie at first contact and practise. for the first try, type " tower, departing VFR to " into the radio channel, and do your flight. Start doing VFR, throw yourself into the left seat of your C172, connect to the network, place yourself at an airport apron (NOT the runway) with no ATC online. So why not do so straight away? They offer splendid manuals, which explain everything about how to start and what to learn. If you want to see other pilots within your sim while you fly or are at the ground, then you need to sign up to one of the networks (IVAO or VATSIM). This involves a lot of practice on *one* aircraft type. But flying exactly to a plan, flying to the book and checklists, flying well in bad weather conditions, in other words flying safe (!!) is a totally different story. Take-off and landing are slightly more difficult. This is a one-click operation from within XACARS. At the end of the flight you send the PIlots REPort (PIREP), generated by XACARS to the VA and your flight will be logged. What they do require is the use of a plugin (mostly XACARS) which tracks your flight data. None of these and no virtual airline requires you to fly online at IVAO or VATSIM, or similar. FSE is well established but kind of frozen in it's structures, which is why FTW-SIM was started. Both, FSE and FTW-SIM (I do not know the ones you mentioned) offer this. I assume you really want to go that road, so why not just begin at the start, instead at the high-end?Īs I understand, you are looking for a group experience and ranking system in the background. Well, if you are looking for a king's shortcut into becoming a pilot you will fail.
